What can I do if the code on my xbox prepaid card is no longer readable?

I rubbed off the code of my prepaid card too quickly so that you can no longer see anything. Receipt is still there

Is there any possibility

You could only hope for goodwill from the dealer. But since this is my own fault, I don't think that anything will come of it.
