Sold something to a friend but he no longer pays?

Moin, I sold an xbox series s to a friend for 250 euro in December. I have only seen 100 euro of this until today and now to my question I would have the opportunity to simply sell the console mentioned again immediately for the full price. Then of course would give him the 100 euro back. If that were somehow legally possible, I don't know my way around

Do you still have them? You can only sell what you have.

Not without further ado. You have to warn him because the purchase contract is pending due to the deposit.

If you have not recorded a date in writing then he can pay you back the xbox as he wants.

It's not a friend.

Also, you should have made him pay first before you gave him your property, but of course I understand that he abused his friendship status to pull off this crooked tour.

If everything fails just go to the police and report the case and ask what you can do, it would be best if you can also prove that the property originally belonged to you.

It can of course happen that he lies and claims to have given you 250 euro.

I can get it anytime is my roommate, but he'll be moving out in 2 months anyway

The police have nothing to do with it because it is a civil matter

OK

Re

That would simply be theft.

You have a sales contract. You then transferred the part to him, so he also became the owner. (I'm not assuming that you sold this under retention of title.)

The fact that he has not yet paid (everything) does not matter at all.
