Did you already achieve a lot in online mode and did you also buy Shark Cards? If so, I'm really sorry for you, I switched from PS4 to PC a year ago and was also a bit further in GTA Online and I had already completely through the story mode.
An advantage if you should switch to PC is that you have some experience in online mode and know how to play to get RP and money, at least for me.
You can also play on Pc or XBox depending on what you want and then you change from time to time.
