Should I buy the PS5 or Xbox Series X which is better?

Le

What you like best and on which console your friends play ^^

Ay

You have to decide for yourself. I recommend you take a look at the YouTube video PS5 vs X Box Series X from RGE

th

The overall package is much better on the Series X this time, so I can say more neutrally that Microsoft won this time. Was the last gens the other way around. I picked up the Xbox myself and am extremely enthusiastic.

Still, it just depends on what you want. Sony's upcoming exclusives are of course also interesting, even if I wonder why the PS5 e.g. The new Spiderman only manages to 4K with 30FPS.

Theoretically, the Xbox is more powerful than the PS5, but it depends on how the developers take advantage of this. I think the two consoles are about the same speed. It just depends on which games you want to play and which overall package you like better.

Az

That depends, there are currently no exclusive titles for either of them. The best thing to do is take a look at what's to come, remember that Microsoft bought Bethesda or Zenimax and therefore Fallout and The Elder Scrolls etc. Will now appear exclusively for Xbox and PC.

The bottom line is that the Xbox has a bit more power, at first it was said that you won't notice that much but, for example, Assassin's Creed Vallhalla runs in 4k on the PS5 with 30 and on the Series X with 60fps. But if you don't use 4k like me, then it doesn't matter, you hardly notice the difference.

The PS5 has a little less memory, 825GB of which a little over 600 usable for games. The XBox has 1TB of it, probably around 800-850 usable for games. But of course both are expandable. The PS5 with an NVME SSD of the latest generation and the Xbox with a specially developed 1TB card from Seagate. But keep in mind that both are not cheap and move for 1TB in the 200 euro range.

The PS5 controller is a bit more complex technically (adaptive trigger etc.), but the Xbox controller is still one of the best in terms of hand shape etc.

At the Xbox there's the gamepass where you can get over 200 games for a few euro a month and not only old games but also brand new ones like all Microsoft exclusive games.

The Xbox is a bit more available and with a little expenditure of time it is quite possible to get one while the PS5 is currently being canceled in a row.

You should also look at space as the PS5 is really huge

To be honest, it was clear to me from the start, that's exactly how it is with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The PS5 version runs at 30 and the Xbox version at 60fps. I realized that this 120fps talk is nonsense

th

120 fps support a couple of games so far, and more will be over time.
