Hi

Is it worth your while to buy an Xbox Elite Controller? I regularly play Fortnite or other Battle Royal games.

No, not worth it anymore

Wait a bit longer then comes the Elite Controller 2

More durable parts and above all with battery and also runs with Bluetooth, for the old you need the stupid Xbox Wireless Adabert

edit:

For games like Fortnite, I would advise you not to use a controller, but to accustom you to play with the mouse and keyboard, who can do that is against controller gamers absolutely in the advantage in front of everyone on the PC where every shooting games like that

No, that's a waste of money. You can easily play with a normal controller.

The Elite Controllers are already much more precise that makes something special

Whether it is worth 200 euro you have to weigh yourself

See my answer.

In my opinion, it's worth it, after all, I already have the second elite controller in my possession. However, whether it is a worthwhile investment for you can only be decided by yourself.

However, I can give you a little help, which will hopefully make your decision easier. And believe me, I have been playing console for 30 years and have had many controllers in my hand and also worn them out. So I think that I can look back on some experience.

First of all the advantages, which I do not want to miss anymore.

First the quality of the workmanship and the high weight. This not only feels good but is also comfortable in the hand. Likewise, the sticks last much longer than the normal controller. Then, of course, the freely configurable paddles which can be operated with some practice without other buttons for it to let go. A not inconsiderable advantage in some shooters. The trigger stops ensure a faster trigger when aiming and shooting. That too is a clear advantage. All this is freely configurable, not only the assignment but also the attachment points of the sticks and triggers. Preset profiles can be saved on the console and two saved on the controller. Then the pad is still various embroidery sizes and an alternative D-pad.

Now a few disadvantages of course there are.

In the first generation, no battery is installed and thus, as with the normal controller batteries, your own batteries or the Play and Charge Kit needed. Furthermore, even an elite controller does not last forever. Yes, he keeps longer than a standard controller but the sticks wear out here at some point. The first generation also has the problem that the rubber layer on the croissants can be solved or in individual cases, the plastic bridge between the two Bumbern breaks. In both cases, however, Microsoft shows itself to be accommodating. Then you would still get used to playing with the paddles, which can also be removed or blocked. Especially at first you express yourself quickly by mistake or even forget to use them. And last but not least the high price.

For me, however, experience shows that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. And as for the price. In the time in which I use an elite I would have worn 2 or 3 normal controllers, depending on the degree of use, which is quite high for me.

Hope this helps you a little further. If you have any questions, always let me know.

If he plays on the Xbox mouse and keyboard is possible only in a few titles. Thus, the elite is a good alternative.
