I dug up my Xbox one from 2014 and am now using it again, but I only have a few games and would like to buy new ones on disc. Now my question is if I bought the disc and still use additional data? You should know my internet is very bad and I have never updated the Xbox since 2014. I come to my 2 question, do I have to update the Xbox to play new titles like Jedi Fall or not?
You definitely have to update it to use the internet properly, it would definitely recommend it. Generally nothing needs to be downloaded, it is only installed
