Hi, I would like to start with YouTube videos. I just want gameplays e.g. B. Record from Forza Horizon 4 and then upload it. (below is a link)
I do the whole thing with the XBox One S and a stick that I put in the XBox, on which I can record in 1080p for 1 hour.
I have now uploaded the first video after cutting it on the PC. You can also watch it in 1080p, but the quality still looks much worse than if I were playing on the XBox. Compared to other Youtubers who upload gameplays, my video just looks bad despite 1080p. Almost like it was only 480p or so.
can somebody help me? Is it because of the XBox One S or maybe in general because I'm not recording on the computer?
because I actually thought that the videos would have the same quality afterwards as the ones I got while recording live on the XBox while playing.

You have to remember it's only an Xbox (or even the worst I think)
I tried something with my XBX that went a little better.
You have to pay attention to the output quality even with a PC
The recording quality is automatically deteriorated by your Xbox because otherwise it simply wouldn't have enough power.
Does that look better with the One X?
And can you already say whether the quality of the new Series X will be comparable to that of a computer?
It's definitely easier with the PC. But you can also use an external record box. This is also for Xbox: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/razer-ripsaw-hd-switch-ps4-xbox-one-game-recorder-12043774
Get a capture box. Next year I'll get one that can record 4K @ 60fps, but it also costs 400 ticks. This will then be used on my future Xbox Series X and PS5. You can find various capture boxes or capture cards on Amazon. The cheap ones are the ones you have to connect to the OC. The more expensive ones are standalone things that get by without a PC, like the 400 Euro part that I mentioned. But the decision is yours…
* PC, not OC - I made a mistake, sorry for that. I hate my smartphone keyboard…
The part is good, but very expensive for the educated quality. - It's just my opinion.
