An XBox and a recording device for gameplay (Elgato).
Originally I wanted to record gameplay from the XBox with the Elgato Capture Card on the PC.
But now I'm thinking about recording games that I play on the PC.
Can I then also record these with the Elgato Capture Card or should I do it better with a program for the PC?
If your PC can create a program like OBS Studio, I would record it over it, then it's easier.
If your PC can't and you have an Elgato that saves on its own memory chip, you can use it
The best way to do this is to use the program, OBS "is easy to use and there are many simple tutorials to help you with this
you can also stream with it
Okay thanks.
Would also recommend OBS studio.
A capture card for one and the same device usually has disadvantages and advantages.
Or rather, no advantages.
