The game is currently on sale and I wanted to know if it a) cross-platform PC / Xbox and b) how much it allows multiplayer parties. What is the max number of a crew and how many people can use 1 ship together?
The maximum number of crew is 4. There are three ships:
Sonic: 1-2 players
Two Masters: 2-3 players
Galleon: 4 players
Crossplay is possible, but is optional.

Suppose you're to 8. Can all 8 men ride on a galleon and work even though they're not in a party? Eg. To make videos.
Parties are only possible for up to four players. The only option would be to make two parties and try to join the same server by simultaneously joining. Then you can then meet on a ship.
