Ps4 controller connected to pc with xbox emulator. Does not work anyway?

Hi, got my ps4 controller connected to my pc and got me an xbox controller emulator. The controller is recognized by the pc as well as by the emulator but in games it just does not work and everything has been rebooted and downloaded from scratch but it does not work.
