Why is Cyberpunk 2077 getting such hype?

First a limited special edition of the RTX 2080ti came out of the game in colors, now Microsoft wants to bring out a special edition of the Xbox One X as a limited edition, especially because of the game. Headsets are also available in the game edition. Many manufacturers therefore bring their things out again as a special edition. Have there ever been games that have been supported so much by other manufacturers?

This has nothing to do with voluntary support. It is nothing more than paid advertising. If you equate a lot of advertising with hype, then there have been quite a few times

Clearly there were other games too

cyber punk has been in development for years and accordingly the game is also announced.

The game is hyped because the expectations of the developers are enormous.

Most recently they created Witcher III and for me and many other people it is still the best game ever.

Advertising on Xbox isn't really worth it, so it's unlikely. Anyway, only people who love the game would buy this "overpriced" special edition anyway.

Death Stranding has completely passed me by - never heard of it.

There was a lot of hype around it. How could you not have noticed this hype ;-) Many also called it the DHL simulator: -D

Ka, but I have to admit, the characters in the game look very realistic. Cyberpunk 2077 can hardly do anything more.
