Xbox gold next to my name?

When I started playing on my Xbox today I noticed that there's gold next to my Xbox gamertag. What does that mean?

Nothing just means that you have gold. It is also with me and Gamepass is also with me.

Microsoft knows you have Xatar's gold

Only that you have gold.

That means you have an active Gold membership running.

Gold membership is a paid subscription to play games online on Xbox.
