Amazon account locked fax requested?

Hello and indeed I bought yesterday at Amazon an Xbox gold card shortly after I bought it my account was blocked and now I should prove by fax my name and my address but I have no fax device what should I do now?

Check if that's true and look at your Amazon account. But I would not use a link from the mail.

Sounds like there was something wrong, otherwise they would not have locked your account.
But you have to know that even if you have done something wrong.

If everything went right from your point of view, call Amazon Support and ask.

That the message really came from Amazon and is not phishing mail, you've hopefully checked.

Why - you have to know that YOURSELF best ;-)
- Misrepresentations made?
- Date of birth forged?
- Are you of legal age?
- Invalid payment method?
- or any other breach of the Amazon terms…

If Amazon wants you to fax your data, either do it from your workstation or the post office. If you want to be sure, then inquire at Amazon what is going on.
