Start rresident evil story?

I would like to start playing resident evil, but unfortunately I don't know which part to start with so whether there's a chronological order or not and whether there are all parts for my console at all I have an xbox series so I can play too from the first xbox, the xbox 360 and the xbox one play since the xbox is true to all of its old generations.

Also, there are parts that I can leave out because they are not important for the story or because they continue their own story?

On PC there are all parts, part 2 and three as a remake for the one, part 5 for Xbox 360, part 6 for the 360 (but I'm not sure, it can also be for the one), part seven for the one, part 1 and 4 you have to look in the store, it could be there, of course start chronologically with part 1, between Resi 4 and 5 come I think the revalations parts are also available for Xbox 360

Don't forget Resident Evil 0. Plays before or shortly after part 1.
