I want to buy an Xbox series X or Ps5 this year. My TV is on my TV when I switch to hdmi (because I play zock xbox one s) 1080p 60hz that's enough for the next gen console by the way my TV is 32 inches.
The image transfer should work.
So I will get the XBox Series X and also buy a new TV for it. Because there's a qualitative difference between HD and 8K. If you and I stick to our current TVs, there will be no transmission errors via HDMI.
by the way my television is 55 inches
This message only shows what the console is currently outputting. But probably your TV really only has 1080p.
In this case, you would lose a great deal of the performance advantage of the new consoles because you can't use 4K or 120Hz.
Could an FHD monitor with 144hz be sufficient for 4k games
I should buy a FHD monitor with 144hz
I would find a 4K TV or 4K monitor with 60Hz more useful.
Have you ever tested the maximum resolution in the console settings?
Otherwise, the TV is certainly enough, but you can't really benefit from the performance of the new consoles.
It should be 4k, HDR and at least a 60 Hertz panel. And of course a little bigger is also an advantage.
