My son played Animal Crossing New Leaf on a New Nintendo 3DS and built up a lot in the game.
Now the Nintendo is not working properly anymore (you can't type in different letters and numbers anymore) and he got a new Nintendo 3DS.
In the new Nintendo, the score of the game is completely gone, it is as if he had a new game in it.
Is there a way to take the game to the new Nintendo?
If it's about card, everything would have been transferred.
But when it has been downloaded, everything is gone.
Is a game with map. In old Nintendo the score is there, not in the new one.
Actually, it should have been transferred: /
Here's an official guide from Nintendo on how to transfer data from one device to another.

Otherwise, you could also see if it is enough to insert the SD card of the old device in the new device.
Here you will also find instructions on how to transfer data from one SD card to another SD card.

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, I'm technically completely untalented and have no plan how to transfer the data works.
I also did not find an SD card, or did you mean the game?
The crazy thing is yes, in my daughter's Nintendo the score is also there when you insert the game.
Only in the new Nintendo not
How you transfer the data I have linked as a guide.
Have you ever copied a file to a USB stick? Transferring data from one SD card to another works the same way in principle.
No I do not mean the game but really an SD card. In the newer devices this is usually hidden behind the cover of the bottom. Simply unscrew the two screws of the cover and release the cover.
Or the SD card is located behind a small hinged cover on the side.
Thanks for the explanation with the SD card, especially the photos really helped me understand the whole thing.
In fact, I've never copied a file to a USB stick… 🙈
The crazy thing about the whole is yes, in the Nintendo of my daughter is the score there, in the newly purchased not. All 3 devices are New Nintendo 3DS XL.
In that case, it might be enough to simply plug the SD card into the other device.
