I have a pretty annoying problem.
My XBOX Elite Controller Series 2 and two pairs of my Joy-Cons have a drift problem.
Guarantee has already expired and I would only open it if there's no other option, since I have little idea of something like this and could make it worse.
I once saw a video of someone with 75% alcohol and a cotton swab, with whom he put this in the place where the stick joints are in the case, that solves the problem. The comments also all said that it works.
Now I have the question:
Does that work or could it make things worse (because the Elite Controller has metal embroidery joints or something like that) or maybe you even have completely different ideas?
Well, it has to help because it cleans or lubricates the grinding parts. You can't go wrong with screwing on.
Ok thanks.
But you have to see that you have the hexagon screws there, otherwise it won't work
Thanks
But there are no visible screws on the Elite Controller
They are usually under the handles and in the battery compartment. Better watch a video where he does it.
He cuts it open with a knife. You can't take out the battery.
