I have an XBox one. Normally I wanted to open my menu, but I also recently encountered this problem, which I now noticed again.
And if I want to open the (Home) menu, it automatically jumps away and jumps to the field in the menu in the overview with the victories. If I then want to navigate to the menu using the directional pad or analog stick, it jumps over and over again. I don't know what the problem is but I can't open the settings anymore.
Also as another example. When switching off, the Xbox only asks what you want to switch off, be it the controller, the console or just restart. Then I control it, but in the end it always changes.
What can be there or what can I do about it? 😵
That sounds like the controller is either defective or a button is stuck. But for security I would also look if it occurs when connected with a USB cable
