Microsoft XBOX Wireless Controller does not work on the PC?

I ordered a controller from Media Markt for 49.99 euro, which has arrived. But I've been trying to connect it for 10 minutes, but it just doesn't appear when I turn on Bluetooth. I did everything as in the instructions or in videos. It doesn't even show up by cable. What can I do?

Controller is a small button at the front that you have to press, then the controller flashes. Then that should actually work. If not look in the PC settings, that the PC also recognizes the new Bluetooth device.

You mean the little button "up" on the controller? I pressed it several times for every attempt for 3 seconds. And with all devices, including bluetooth, there's no new one.
