I wanted to renew my Internet at the Xbox, have 32 euro in the account and would like to buy the 20 euro offer. However, I should specify a 2nd payment option (I did) but it still does not work… WTF Xbox?! What should I do?
What do you mean by internet? Do you mean the Xbox Live Gold membership?
If yes there's a second payment method is required because it is there's a subscription (monthly charge for the service)

I have indicated my mobile phone number, which is under a contract.
I do not think that works with the mobile number. Subscriptions use most credit cards, PayPal accounts or giro cards
As far as I know, the second payment method must be either PayPal or credit card.
Also, you can't buy the gamepass or Xbox Live Gold through your Microsoft balance because it is a subscription and so a permanently deposited payment method is needed.
The credit is for purchases in the store.
