Because of Covid19, most universities now have online courses, including my university. The professor also allowed us to take up the lectures and so far this has worked very well with the one in Windows in the Xbox Game Bar. Not since the last Windows update, I can only record audio or take a single screenshot, the screen recorder button is simply gray and when I click it appears: "Gaming features aren't available for the Windows Desktop or File Explorer". Before, I couldn't record when I had the file explorer open (it seemed to be a security and data protection function). Now, however, I can't record anything, regardless of whether I have zoom in full-screen mode or not, I've already tried various programs.
Maybe someone has a solution because with the free screen recorder from the App Store I have had bad experiences in the sense that, contrary to the settings, they either recorded no sound at all or only recorded the first 10 minutes.
I use CamStudio on the laptop under WINDOWS 10. With the open source tool CamStudio, you record everything that is going on on your screen.
In the meantime I have received a promo code from a PC magazine and can now use the full version of the "SnagIt" program for EUR 19.90.
I have used it many times, as it can also convert text from the screen into editable text using OCR and can even record entire pages in "panorama mode" - the money has paid off xx times for me.
