Xbox Nat Type: Open?

My latency is sometimes over 300ms and makes online games unplayable. In addition, no real nat type is shown to me but only "open" can someone help me? Have a 50k line.

You can't just reduce it like that. The server latency has something to do with the respective game and the provider.

So there's nothing I can do about it?

Better not use Wi-Fi for applications like gaming.

WLAN networks are only half duplex (technical term: time division duplex) and so you can ONLY send OR receive at a time. The whole thing becomes even more complicated if several routers (e.g. From your neighbors) are within range.

This can result in high latency. A simple solution to this would be to use a LAN cable. DLAN could also be an improvement, but usually only to a very limited extent.
