Rocket League Controller does not work?

Hi, I played rocket league on the pc with an Xbox controller until yesterday, but since today it works more, I set up the pc again and in game I can only add the controller for split screen and then play with it in split screen, but in the menu and so it was always so that when I did something on the controller that it was recognized directly and I was able to control the menu, now it no longer works and I can only use the controller in the split screen and to skip the start screen, need urgent help.

Controller with cable? If so, turn it off and plug it in until you are player 1 and it works as usual

Otherwise set controller settings ingame to default and or make a default of steam users on it then it should work again
