Play Xbox Accident PC on the same Minecraft servers?

I would love to play Minecraft on servers with my friends.

I have an Xbox One and all my friends have a PC.

If we join the same server now, will we be able to play together or will there be separate lobbies for Xbox and PC?

It depends on whether you use Java or the bedrock edition

In Minecraft Bedrock, Ps4, Windows 10, Xbox One, cell phone and switch players play together is just not mods friendly.

Java is only for pc players and you can modding better there
