Communication between Ps4 and Xbox?

My colleagues play Call of Duty on the Xbox and skype on the side because of the better connection, in the COD community the connection has mostly always been bad and I can't download Skype on my Ps4. How can I best talk to them together without interference?

Anyone have any ideas or tips?

Possibly Discord, but Discord is only available as a handy app and PC as far as I know, you could basically connect your headset and talk or, if you have a headset that offers Bluetooth and cable, listen to games and Discord.
