I wanted to connect my Switch pro controller to my PC. If I connect the controller by cable, the controller calibration says that he somehow presses all buttons
When I connect to Bluetooth, he thinks that my controller is a computer mouse and I can move the mouse on the PC with one joystick, which just bothers me when playing.
It's not a problem with Steam, Steam has recognized the controller and is good. But I didn't buy e.g. GTA in Steam but in the Rockstar Launcher and that in turn has the problem that the controller is recognized as a mouse and only this mouse moves on the PC.
Exactly the same problem when I play games from the Microsoft Store… I downloaded a driver from YouTube, it worked at first, then it didn't work the next day
For games outside of Steam, I used the Xinput program so that the Pro Controller is recognized as an Xbox 360 controller. (You can search for buttons and set everything up) And then it should also work with the rockstar launcher. For me xinput works with bluetooth and cable.
There's also the program / driver better joy for cemu
But I had problems with that
Okay thanks, now I have such a dll file, and somehow the websites and videos don't help me, what do I have to do
There's more than one dll file.
Did you download it from here?

Oh, ne had another website, but I've already used this program, but either it doesn't work or thinks my controller is not connected even though Steam says it is closed
Connected *
Steam must not be active when using the xinput program. Otherwise both programs try to use it at the same time and the Xinput thinks nothing is connected.
Lifesaver, that was probably why.
I'm glad it works now!
Have fun!
Thank you
