I have a prolix in the game Skyrim, version 1.1.14534571.8 for the Nintendo Swiitch. And while I'm just completing the Civil War quest line and have joined the storm tunics there. Now I came to the quest, where I should take Whitewalk, which I have also completed successfully, so Balgruuf was replaced at the end of the quest by Vignar gray mane as Jarl. However, when I wanted to return to Whitewater a short time later, the fast-speed point had disappeared from the city of Weißlauf and Drachenfeste. So I just entered Whitewash through the gate. I noticed that despite the completion of the quest, the city is still in a state of war, as the fight music was still running. The NPCs behave normally. And when I entered the kite festivals, Balgruuf was still the Jarl, although Vignar was supposed to be there. In addition, run all over in Weißlauf soldiers of the storm robes and no more guards. I'm also unable to continue the quest line as the game still thinks I'm in the quest "The Battle for Whitewalk", although it appears to me to be completed.
Does anyone know about this problem and could help me, because I would like to continue the quest line and not constantly want to endure the fight music everywhere?
Since this is the switch version, unfortunately I can't use console commands without jailbreaking them…
Thanks a lot for the tips. And one has even made a difference! Unfortunately, I could not load an older game, because I did not have any more, and I can't use any mods, since the switch version does not have a mod menu, such as: The PS4 version. So I tried the thing with the attack on Balgruuf that you suggested and that actually did something. The fighting music has stopped and the fast-track points of Weißlauf and the Drachenfeste are back. However, Balgruuf is still sitting on the throne of the Jarls. Shortly thereafter, however, I met Vignar, who claimed to be the Jarl now, though he is still called "Vignar Gray Mane" and still has the normal dialog options. When I was with Ulfric, I was also able to start the next quest.
I thank you once again for your help and I hope that the mistake of the position of the Jarls with me will soon be solved by myself by waiting a long time.
