I've started again with Skyrim and I'm pretty much finished now and would like to play it on platinum (PS4).
I have the problem that I can't do the quest with the blacksmith in Falkenring any more. I got the quest from the blacksmith in Falkenring to find the dog that is running around in the streets. The only problem I have now is that I played the Dark Brotherhood and the mutt showed up when the Dark Brotherhood was attacked. Then I ignored the dog, even if he spoke to me. Now the quest with "find the dog" is gone. I was already in the cave near Helgen, where he led one, and looked all over Falkenring and couldn't find him anymore. So he just doesn't appear in the cave and ran through it.
Anyone knows by chance if I can somehow wake up the quest.

The quest is over.
But there's a trick that saved me platinum. There are actually 16 artifacts that you can get because the skeleton key doesn't count there are 15. But there's a trick where there are 16 anyway. So you can miss ONE!
During the daedraquest "Fateful Meetings in the Moonlight" you have to decide whether you want to kill the werewolf or not. As you choose, there's a different Daedra artifact.

He should still be found somewhere in Falkenring, maybe near the Dark Brotherhood?
If you can't find it anymore when you play PC:
1. Open the quest log and mark the quest concerned
2. Open the console (button to the left of the "1")
3. Enter "SQT" (without quotation marks) - with SQT you will receive the quest ID
4. Enter Getstage "Quest-ID" in the console (Quesit-Id without quotation marks) - with this command you will see the status of the quest whose quest ID you enter under "Quest ID".
5. Enter Setstage "Quest ID" "Quest Status". (Increase quest status e.g. By 10, with this command you change the quest status of the quest, whose quest ID you enter under "Quest ID".) Then you have to try around until the quest is completed.
With that you have finished the quest.
When you meet the dog, you should follow him to a cave in the mountains. There he runs to the end, where the statue of Clavicus Vile is. You should also have the quest "A Daedra's Best Friend" that will lead you to this cave.
You don't necessarily need every Daedric artifact to get the trophy. You need 15 artifacts for this, but you can get 16 regularly and with a trick even 17. So it wouldn't be so bad if this quest had failed.
Do you play on console or PC? On the PC, you could perhaps save something by entering commands, if it were necessary.
