I've been on a diet since last week. The first 6 days were very motivating for me because I lost 400 grams every day. Two days ago I gained 300 grams, since then my weight has not gone down, although I have not changed anything in my diet.
Some information: I'm 18 years old, 1.75 tall and weigh 86 kg.
About my diet: I eat wholemeal spelled bread with Gouda cheese, lettuce and cucumber every morning. Nothing has changed since the beginning of the diet. The whole day I don't eat anything, drink a lot of water, as a sport I actually only play Just Dance 2021 on the Nintendo Switch.
If I haven't changed anything in my diet or anything else, why don't I keep losing weight?
As far as I know, a diet only goes up to a certain point.
There may be "older fat" in the body, which may be harder and therefore take more time to break down. The body then also has a point where it can no longer lose weight, which is different for each person
How do you stimulate your metabolism if you don't eat anything?
Maybe do a little more exercise? You could run a lap in the forest as an example.
Bring variety in your diet and watch out for a calorie deficit, drink enough water and, above all, at least an hour of aerobic exercise a day.

Way too much.
Not more than 0.5kg a week, otherwise you will rush into the yo-yo effect after the diet.

Great! Perfect conditions to reduce muscle mass instead of fat.
You eat too little!
Okay thanks! Then I'll eat more.
