Animal crossing beet prices?

We have 2 Nintendos, each with an Animal Crossing New Leaf. One of them should serve to always maintain a beet price. Is that possible? I know that if you simply travel back at the appropriate time another price is available, but how is that if I always go to that time in the game before the start so always on the same day at e.g. 8 o'clock start? So almost never the new beet price is loaded.

You should not time travel if you own beets as they spoil otherwise and attract flies or ants, so it was with me at least but according to the side only change the prices at 6 o'clock in the morning and 12 noon. I do not think the price stays the same, if not just try it.
