I bought a switch in February and have now found that the stick of the left Joycon's squeaks when moving. It sounds something like a squeaky feather from a ballpoint pen.
My question is now whether I can fix this problem myself again or whether I have the right to repair (guarantee)?
Unfortunately, this noise is very annoying when playing because it is not exactly quiet: /
I find the whole thing quite a shame and disappointing. A switch is not cheap and I don't even have it for 2 months, and problems appear out of nowhere. Financially it is also not possible for me to buy new Joycon's at the moment. Unfortunately I can't just conjure up 70 euro 😅
I hope I can be helped here and I thank you in advance for your answers.
No, don't buy yourself a new single Joy-Con!
If you have a guarantee, have it repaired immediately.
Otherwise, if you have no guarantee and experience in fine technology, I would screw the Joy-Con in your place and replace the stick. A stick costs 1-5 euro.
