Is it worth it to have the New Nintendo 2DS XL and the Nintendo Switch?

So I'm w / 16 and am currently deciding whether to sell my 2DS XL or not. And I bought this 6 months ago, because my old 3DS gave up the ghost and I found the switch uninteresting. In January, I played with relatives with the Switch and found them awesome, so I bought them a few days later from my savings (Christmas, birthday and pocket money). Meanwhile, I already have over 20 games for it. Now it is so that I have not played on the 2DS XL for 2 months because of the switch, since I have most games so now in better quality on the switch. The only games I miss on the Ds would be Animal Crossing, Mario Maker and Professor Layton. Mario Maker is already announced for the switch and animal crossing as I've heard should also come out. Professor Layton I could play with my brother on the Ds, he has all the parts.

Is it still worth it to keep the New Nintendo 2DS XL, or should I sell this and get me from the money more games for my Nintendo Switch?

I would be happy about many well-founded answers and tips, because I really do not know any further.

For the Nintendo 3DS there are some exclusive titles that are not available for the Nintendo Switch.

Keep both!

even if you do not use your Nintendo 2 DS XL. If you sell it in about 20 years, the part is extremely valuable. Only if you sold it now, it would not be so valuable.

Ultimately, it's your decision

Yes, but none that interest me especially. Fire Emblem Warriors is there for both, Luigis Mansion also comes on the switch as far as I've heard… There are also endless games that come on both consoles

Ha

Luigis Mansion 3 is again another game, as Luigis Mansion 1 or 2.

ma

Yes, but better and with the same principle.

I think it will give a different story.

Unfortunately, Nintendo will focus only on the Switch, which will never sell as well as the 3ds / 2ds did.

This means that for the 3ds probably no major titles will appear, only indie games.

I personally have both consoles, the 2ds for Pokemon Ultrasonne / Moon / AlphaSaphir / X, & New Leaf & Happy Home Designer. I have the switch for Lets go Pikachu, Zelda and My Heros Justice.

But I think that the switch does not have good titles, except for Mario and the ones I mentioned, that's why I mainly play PC and PS4.

I would keep the 2ds in your place.

In the 3ds I would have said something else, which is now no longer produced (nintendo focuses only on the new 2ds xl) so you could still sell it for good money.

ma

Yes, that's right.

Br

That does not necessarily have to be. The PS1 or the SNES is not worth much these days either.

If, then the device must be repackaged, or the 2ds must be a limited edition, but these have not yet comparable value as a limited 3ds Edition (eg The Zelda Majoras Mask Edition or the Luigi Edition

So I have about 25 games for the switch and there are still about 40 or more that I still want to have. On the other hand, I have about 150 games for DS / 3DS, but I hardly have games. The only thing I have 5 minutes on is currently AC NL, AC HHD and Professor Layton. And that at most once a week. If you had more information about the AC for the Switch, it would be easier.

The console is like new with ovp, everything was with the purchase, bill, accessories and about 100 Ds and 50 3Ds games, these, however, on the memory card and a r4i module, so basically not original. But have been copied from the original of my brother, the collector. Keyword security copy. Among them are many very popular games like all 7 Professor Layton parts, all 4 animal crossing games, several Mario titles, Zelda etc
