Amazon cheaper than the listed price?

I have a question about Amazon.

A work colleague buys at Amazon much cheaper than the prices indicated.

e.g.

nintendo switch quoted price 329 euro

it goes into the shopping cart until you place your order and the price of around 272 euro is displayed there.

and that is the case with all of the goods on amazon.

how is that He doesn't really want to tell me. Allegedly, an Amazon employee arranged it for him on the phone.

Probably just a discount voucher. Maybe he has a colleague who works at Amazon

If it's not just stories, then your colleague probably has a business account. Some individual prices are shown without VAT. But that comes back to the cash register as a whole.

Saw it myself. He also orders something for me now and then. Nothing more is added to the price
