Is it bad if you take out the Joy Cons of the Nintendo Switch without the unlock button?

I only just saw that every Joy Con has an unlock button. Before that I took out the Joy Cons without the unlock button. Was that bad or could it have harmed the Switch, the Joy Cons? The console is new…

As such, the Joy cons won't do any internal damage or anything, but have you ever looked at those little hooks that fold in when you press the unlocking buttons? These are such hooks that the Joy cons won't slip. They can wear out. That happened to me once and then the console slipped down in handheld mode and I still had the Joy cons in my hand. Gone stupid.
