Buying a game abroad in the Nintendo E-Shop?

Hello does anyone of you know if I can shop with my Nintendo Switch Lite in the Eshop when I'm abroad?

I fly to Thailand on March 15th and on March 20th the new animal crossing for the Switch comes out. If I'm in Thailand can I buy the game in the EShop or if I pre-order it can I also play it there and even when I'm back in Germany can I still play it?

This is possible in theory, but in practice it only creates problems. The following things can happen:

It is possible that your account will be blocked first because access with a Thai IP is not normal. Then it is possible that the software has a geoblock, i.e. Is only intended for the Asian region and does not work in Europe. Possibly. Not all language packs are available either.

All in all, too much can go wrong - I wouldn't risk it.

Yes, I think so. I can't tell you in detail now whether the release in Thailand is at the same time as in Europe, but nothing should happen there.
