For me it is the case that we have a Wi-Fi router in the living room and a repeater / second router (I don't know that exactly) in the hallway. From the start, my switch did not manage to permanently connect to one of the two routers (/ repeaters) when I was in my room, so I always used my PC to turn on a hotspot over the Wi-Fi in the hallway and myself with this Hotspot connected, whatever worked after 2-3 attempts.
About two months ago, this suddenly stopped working, every time I try to connect, I get the error message "A connection to the network could not be established. Please check the status of the network device and try again." As a test, I went into the hallway and tried to connect to the Wi-Fi there. It always worked in the past, but my switch doesn't want that either. However, I can connect to the Wi-Fi in the living room without any problems. My father already exchanged the router / repeater in the hallway for one that we still had here, but that didn't change anything. Can someone help me?
Buy new one either Nintendo or Router if it is wrong and let others buy I'm Turkish and 10 years old lol
I have no money for a new Nintendo Switch and router change brings nothing
Turn the router off and on again, which helped me with the typical you Hey turn it ans in again problem
I've tried several times, just like restarting Switch, neither works
What brand is your router from? And from which of the repeaters
The router is a Fritzbox, the repeater / router from Telekom
Is the repeater displayed as a single Wi-Fi network or is the network called exactly the same as when you log in to the router
The is displayed as a single network
In this case, I would load all game files into the cloud from Switch Online and reset the Switch. Don't worry, the game saves are saved on the Nintendo Account and the Switch is set up again
How do you load them into the cloud? And are they then automatically brought back or how does it work?
As soon as you have Switch Online in the menu with the "cursor" on the game and press + should be the lowest point
But at Splatoon it says "The creation of backups is not supported for this software", which means that my saves would be lost, right?
I'm not sure but I think Splatoon is connected to the Nintendo Account anyway
I just googled, "So if you reset the console completely, all the saves from games like" Splatoon 2 "," The Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild "or" Mario Kart 8 Deluxe "will be lost." Do you have any other ideas? Because I don't want to lose my saves
I do not know if there's a possibility to make a backup on the PC, otherwise try to contact Nintendo Support
