I recently wanted to play on his nintendo switch with my brother. The problem is that the cursor moves on the screen by itself. Recalibration was not possible (was not recognized by the left controller). Nevertheless, you can still control the cursor in (although he sometimes fights against it). It must be said that the rubber of the right joystick is no longer on. Maybe that has something to do with it
Unfortunately, this is normal at Joy-Cons. The controllers are simply extremely susceptible to contamination, which then sends the wrong signals. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to fix this "Joy-Con drift", but I've personally given up and prefer to use a Pro Controller.
Hm ok: / it's stupid that something like that happens at such a price
