As a child and adolescent, I played a lot of video games. But then when I started studying at 19 and found other hobbies, I continued to gamble downwards. Now I'm 29 and I just can't find any time to gamble after work. I bought games that I haven't even opened to this day that still have foil on them. And my Nintendo Switch is increasingly becoming a dust catcher, and my Playstation 3 (!) Is missing. The interest is still there in the heart. There are so many good games that I would like to play, but in the end I prefer to do a series in my spare time. Do you know that too? Disinterest and interest in one?
I know that too. It's a strange feeling, but it doesn't help to do anything that has interested you more in the past.
Just take your time - or leave it alone.
You decide what you spend your time with.
Don't make the mistake and start "working through games" or playing through them as effectively as possible. Enjoy it like a series.
It has nothing to do with age but with your priorities. If you prefer to watch a series you can't play at the same time and vice versa.
A friend's father likes to play on the PC, currently some Assassins Creed and he is over 70. He is looking forward to Baldur's Gate 3 like a schnitzel, and me too, by the way, and the 40 are also not far away ^^
It's normal, as you get older you have less time for your free time, but more interests (travel etc.)
