Minecraft bedrock multiplayer not working, what to do?

I'm playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on the Nintendo Switch. Everything works great in the single player, but I was never able to log in with my Microsoft account and I couldn't invite any switch friends because it meant that the connection to Switch online was disconnected. Since the last update I was able to register. I wanted to go into the world of a friend who plays Aich on the switch, it took a long time to log in and then the error message came: "Connection timed out

No connection to the world "

I tried several times but it was always the same. Then I logged in with my Microsoft account and we wanted to play together as Microsoft friends instead of as switch friends. Then after a short while the message came: "Connection to server disconnected"

I tried that a few times, always the same. Then I tried it again via switch online and it came back "connection to server disconnected" which was kind of strange since it was a different error code before logging in.

Does anyone have an idea what's going on that doesn't work? 🤔

Did you check your Wi-Fi connection? It is also possible that your device simply has no connection to it.

I sat right next to the Wi-Fi router and other games work great, Youtube too. Just minecraft not so it can't be because.

I was just trying to join a normal minecraft server and it just worked. The friend's world still doesn't work.

Mhm okay so it's not the device anyway. I think that's a problem with your friend's world. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense. Did you do anything different than when you joined?

No nothing. I used the multiplayer on the switch for the first time since it did not work before the update, as already mentioned. I asked my friend if he had good internet he said he did
