Since my new TV no longer has a scart connection, I got an adapter for it.
When I connected the Wii, the image flickered a lot and the colors were very faded. So thought the adapter wasn't working. Then I connected my Playstation 2 and everything works fine.
So my question: Why doesn't it work with the Wii and what can be done to change that?
Maybe the HDMI output of the Wii is defective?
Or the Wii is not designed for such modern televisions?
Maybe set the resolution on the television a little lower?
I also have a Wii but the RGB connection (3 round color plugs) connected to my TV even without Scart connections works without problems and many new TVs still have the connection
Your television must have the 3 connections for scart
Red / money / white connection.
Thought that everyone still has, I firmly believe
I think that's relatively unlikely. Everything was great with my old TV (about a year ago) and since I've had the new one, the console has not been used and was always secure, so it never fell off or anything.
Actually it should be possible, there seem to be ways.
I think the resolution on the television shouldn't be, otherwise there would be problems with the Playstation too.
But thanks.
Mine actually doesn't. Only a mini-scart connection.
Mine only has a mini Scart connection.
Problem solved, it was due to a setting in the console itself.
Oh yes, I don't know that. But would make sense
