I had set up a second email many years ago and set up a Nintendo Account and set it up as a parent account to my main account to cheat my age a bit. Since I never used this account, I have forgotten the email to this day. I just set up a new email. The problem is that Nintendo is still the family group's old account administrator and I can't remove my main account from it. Is there a way to remove my account from this family group without having access to the administrator account?
I'll link you here a guide from Nintendo. Maybe she will help you:
I was already there, unfortunately that doesn't get me anywhere.
What age did you specify in your main account or what year of birth?
I gave my real age there, i.e. Year of birth 2004.
All right. I assume that you are not yet 16, because you can't remove your account yourself. If you can still have a little patience, then it is best to wait until you are 16 years old. From 16 you should (probably) be able to remove your account from the family group yourself without admin rights, since only accounts under 16 need confirmation from the parents, according to Nintendo:
Supervised Nintendo accounts of users who are under 16 years of age OR have not yet registered an email address can't be removed from the family group. However, these accounts can be transferred to another family group.
Supervised Nintendo accounts can't leave the family group. A parent / legal guardian in your family group must first remove the status of the supervised person from your account.
Otherwise, you can contact Nintendo Support - preferably via live chat. https://www.nintendo.de/...72961.html
I'm sorry I couldn't help you properly. Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck for the further course and wish you all the best!
Already 16, I still can't because the account still has the supervised status.
Oh yeah, I thought that the supervised status will be removed automatically when you are 16 years old. Then you can probably do nothing more. The only option that could still help: contact Nintendo.
