Amazon payment change required, why?

Two days ago I wanted to order two Nintendo 2DS XL on Amazon. I wanted to pay via bank account (with enough balance, of course) and shortly afterwards the payment was refused.

Amazon urged me to enter a credit card to change the payment method, so I did. But then only the second order came through, the first is still refused even after two days. No matter how often I change it back to my bank account or credit card.

Can you do anything about it?

Su

If they no longer allow direct debit, something must have changed in terms of your creditworthiness or your scoring.

Br

Amazon rates your creditworthiness rather low and therefore does not want to sell. Since this decision is made by a computer, there's not much that can be done about it.

Ri

Amazon queries the data regularly. I have been ordering there since 2006 with a full account and not a little, but I still have to re-validate it every now and then.

If you have any problems, simply contact customer service via chat.

Ja

I also had the problem as a new Amazon customer, there's a certain amount that can't be exceeded, which depends on how much Amazon trusts you.

I just ignored it after a few weeks it went again

Qu

Is this a real credit card or just a prepaid credit card?

Payment with a real credit card is actually always accepted at Amazon, because then sufficient creditworthiness is ensured.

Is a real one.
