Since yesterday my ZL key is no longer working, my switch has not fallen off or so the key is no longer working… Should I buy a new key or can I try something else to make it work again?

I don't know, but maybe you can have the whole console exchanged / repaired at Nintendo since it's not your fault

Ga

A new key will bring you nothing, exchange or take it to a specialist.

Th

But I have a hacked one so I can play all games for free and therefore I can't bring them to Nintendo or exchange them

Th

Why do you think a new button doesn't work? The rest just doesn't work anymore, just the button

Ca

It doesn't necessarily have to be the button. The problem can also be due to a part in the console. It's like a pot + lid. The button is the lid and the inside of the console is the pot. Do you understand what I mean? And in this case the pot could be broken, so a new lid won't work!

Th

Yes, it can be true, but the funny thing is that it is not possible until today. I have not made any updates or so

Ca

It can also happen. You never know. Maybe someone else did something without telling you. Maybe dust or dirt got into it. I don't know my way around so I can't say much. I just know that the problem doesn't have to be the button.

Th

Thanks for your answer that with dust or dirt could also be possible since I set up the switch yesterday.

Ga

Replacing the button does not help much in this case, since a fault on the board is probably to blame.

Then buy yourself new Joycons, problem solved.

Can the switch break from hacking?

Th

Normally it can't break, you can only be blocked by Nintendo at the most then you can't do anything online.
