But I'd have some questions.

1. The installation of the new console

From the fact that one should charge the battery on 100%, I did not read anything.
Yes, you can leave your Nintendo Switch permanently in the dock, the Nintendo Switch is always charged even when it is off, as long as it is in the dock.
Honestly, I do not know anybody who turns off the Nintendo Switch every time after playing. It sure does not matter if you turn it off now each time or just put it in standby mode. (Only the battery runs out faster)

Otherwise, I can only recommend that you handle the switch with care, as it is rather easy to break. (The same goes for the Joy-Cons)
