Epic Games Account + Fortnite Account on Nintendo Switch Problem - How to Fix?

A friend recently gave me his fortnite account (NOT PURCHASED OR SIMILAR) because he has no interest in the game anymore.

So I wanted to connect my switch to his account (he also always played on the switch).

Now I had to create a new switch account etc. There I then entered the respective code that was shared with me on the Epic Games / Activate page, logged in with my friend's account and now receive the message that the account is already running on another Nintendo account.

What do you have to do to play with me (unsubscribe, alternative…)?

Your friend should log out of his account (NOT delete) with his switch then it should work
