I downloaded a wide variety of CoD titles and tried them all and found that the player stopped sprinting after just one frame. This is the case in BO3, WW2 and the latest MW. I've tried several, sometimes even completely new controllers, but the character always stops sprinting after a very short time (but has nothing to do with stamina). Reinstalling did not help, all settings were reset, even on another account on the Ps4 it does not work. It's only when I play on another Ps4 that I don't have this problem. I don't have this problem with other games.
How can I solve the problem?
Just sprint to another button that works 100%. If that didn't work either, I would call them and complain

I also had the problem, for me it was the controller. With a new controller the problem was gone.
As I said, even with partly completely new controllers, nothing has changed
So if I put sprinting on a different key then it works, but I can't change my key assignments for cod - in every game I play, sprinting is set to L3

Are you sure that you hold L3 down constantly while sprinting. I personally noticed that the DS4 controllers are sometimes very unique.
I'm 100% sure of that. If I press L3 once and then point the stick forwards, it breaks off. However, when I hold it down, it works normally (mostly). But I can't push the stick so hard all the time
Isn't there an option to set the sprinting so that you only have to press once?
If so, try that. Because maybe the pressure on L3 is too low when you move the stick forward.
