Can't find any Diamonds PS4?

I'm really desperate. I've been looking for Diamonds for a total of 5 hours, but to no avail. I'm getting the feeling that there are no diamonds in the PS4 Edition. I searched around 20 caves and didn't find a single diamond. On the PC version I find diamonds much, much, much more often. Well, I still found NO diamonds on the PS4, and that after about 30 days of play. Can someone please enlighten me? Are there any diamonds on the Playstation at all? Sounds a bit absurd, but I'm really desperate now.

Yes there are just 10 and strip mine there. You should find slides pretty quickly. LG

There should be diamonds in every world. I had the idea that there are no diamonds in my world, so I went straight to level 12 and dug straight ahead until I found something.

A fairly efficient option is to farm straight ahead in a line, which worked best for me.

In the worst case scenario, you can mine a whole chunk at diamond height, since there's at least one diamond spot in 99.9 percent of all cases
