No connection with the Hunter: Call of Wild (PS4)?

I bought theHunter: Call of the Wild 2021 version on PS4 and wanted to play it with a buddy. Unfortunately, neither of us can open a multiplayer session because the "connection failed" for both of us, which is not true because we can play other games online as normal. What can we do now?
