I'm looking for a gaming monitor that should get everything out of the Playstation 5 (the Playstation 5 should be able to run on 120Hertz and 4K) and on top of that I also need a monitor for my gaming PC, so it should be one that I can use well for Playstation 5 and PC.
PC data are Intel Core i5-8600K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3600MHz, 6 cores graphics card GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
The price should be around 500 euro, of course, the cheaper the price-performance ratio the better, but it's better to add a few euro more than buy twice or be dissatisfied.
Would recommend the aoc C24G1 to the 144 hz

the cheapest costs 750. So I would not hesitate there. 4k is just still priceless. Either full hd or 4k 60fps
In order to play at 4k 120hz with the Playsi, you need an HDMI 2.1 connection. And there are no monitors with such a connection yet. Asus is supposed to bring one out, so wait and see
If you want 4k and 120hz, 500 euro is too little, because a monitor that can do both will have a very poor pixel response time and probably also not a particularly accurate color display. I don't know what you're playing, but the 1070ti won't be able to display most new games in 4k 120fps anyway, and the ps5 will probably not be able to play all of them either. My tip would either be to buy a used one or to do without the 4k.
First of all, thank you for your answer!
Oh yes, the PS5 has no display port connection. It should normally transfer 4K as far as I know, at least my graphics card on the PC has this connection.
That means waiting and probably not buying because the wsl will be completely overpriced. XD
Then I'd better wait for this Asus monitor, thank you very much.
It wouldn't work anyway because it only has HDMI 2.0 ^^
Thank you first for your answer!
On the PC, I tend to play older games or games that do not have such a high graphic requirement, usually play some MMO's and not high-end games. But the monitor should at least be able to display the picture nicely on the PC and then have maximum performance for the PS5. I learned that only a monitor with HDMI 2.1 will come onto the market where you can then really use the PS.
So it's time to wait and see.
I would recommend the https://www.galaxus.de/de/s1/product/asus-vz279q-27-1920-x-1080-pixels-monitor-6336504 to you, although it only achieves 75 Hz, it is an eyecare monitor, which also allows long periods of gaming because it is gentler on the eyes. It has an HDMI, a VGA, a DisplayPort and an audio connection. The menu is clear because it can be controlled via 5 buttons (below) on the edge of the screen. The status LED (operation: white standby: orange) does not interfere at night either. So you don't have to switch it off because it goes into standby mode after a few seconds without a source. It also has a good selection of different color modes, with the "game mode" having the best (strongest) colors. I've been using 2 of them on my PC for a year and I'm very satisfied.
Just for information: There's currently still a monitor with an HDMI 2.1 connection: the EVE Spectrum. However, this company attracted attention with their first product because they never sent their EVE 5 (tablet or something) to the paying customers. So you paid but never got anything, just wanted to warn you, so better keep your distance from that
Okay, thank you very much for the info, I'll wait for Asus to bring out their monitor.
There will be 3; one 27, one 32, and one 42 or so inches
