Fortnite Fps Drops, Reasons?

I have a problem that has bothered me for a long time. When I play Fortnite (not just Fortnite but other games too). So when I look around or in "cities" I get massive fps drops. The game experience is no fun, I'm slowly getting to the new Ps5 next year because I'm really tired of it. I have largely informed myself and tried everything. The latest graphics drivers are installed, the graphics card overclocked, but none of them helped. The next question is whether the problem is the RAM that I have running on single channel. However, think that is not the reason.

It would be interesting to see what is actually installed.

Sl

Forgot it… UPS, attached it.

Pl

Could be the Ram. I would set up the operating system again in your place and reinstall everything again. But Ram is also very likely, as I said, maybe you can ask someone with a dual kit if he will lend you one, then you can try again.

Sl

Isn't the 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 2x8 gb a dual kit?

Pl

Yes.

Sl

Yes I have that

Pl

But why singlechannel then? Did you put them in the right slots?

Sl

Yes on my Tuf motherboard b450-plus Gaming in the 1 and 3 slot

Pl

Don't you usually make ram in the 2nd and 4th slots? Or is it different with the mainboard?

Sl

I have no idea. Should I change it?

Pages 10-11, do you know where the dual channel is?

Pl

There's an illustration of where the ram is in the 2nd and 4th slots. Can you just change the time, it takes a maximum of 5 minutes.

Sl

OK
